La Volerie des Aigles, Kintzheim

In the heart of the Vignoble alsacien, à Kintzheim, is the Volerie des Aigles. The parc animalier has been set up since 1968 in the ruins of the medieval castle at Kintzheim, close to Sélestat. It is home to more than 30 species of birds of prey from all over the world, including eagles, kites, falcons, owls and vultures. When you visit the Volerie des Aigles, you'll have the chance to take part in some thrilling bird shows, including free-flight performances to see how birds behave naturally. The Volerie also hosts a breeding centre and educates visitors about the importance of biodiversity and species conservation.
