La Passerelle des Trois Pays

On the border of three countries

The passerelle des Trois Pays is a bridge located in the south of Alsace that crosses the Rhine between the towns of Huningue (in France) and Weil-am-Rhein (in Germany). Its name comes from its location between Germany, France and Switzerland and offers a view of all 3 countries.

At 238 metres long, it holds the world record for the longest footbridge used by pedestrians and cyclists.
