Mount Sainte-Odile is located on the Alsatian side of the Vosges mountains, in the commune of Ottrott. Culminating at an altitude of 767m, it offers superb panoramic views over the Alsace Plain and the Forêt Noire on one side, and the Vosges mountains on the other. The mur païen, an 11 kilometètres enclosure, runs around the plateau. Its unknown origin fuels many legends. In this exceptional natural and archaeological environment, you'll find a peaceful place that invites you to relax: the sanctuary of Mont Sainte-Odile. At the summit of Mont Sainte-Odile stands the abbey of Hohenbourg founded by Sainte Odile, patron saint of Alsace and daughter of the Duke of Etishon.
