Lac Blanc & Lac Noir, Orbey

Lac Blanc is a high-altitude lake in the Massif des Vosges. It is located in the commune of Orbey

A prominent rock called Hans Rock dominates the lake and is itself crowned with a statue of the Virgin.

This high-altitude lake, occupies the surface the 25 hectares of a glacial cirque, natural, with a depth reaching, in places, 72 mètres.

Lac Noir is a glacial lake located below the crest of the eastern slope of the Massif des Vosges at around 935 mètres average altitude, below the Col du Louchbach, above Orbey.
