Enjoy the Cité du Train - Patrimoine SNCF, Europe's largest railway museum located in Mulhouse!
The Cité du Train abrite was inaugurated in 1971 under the name Musée français du chemin de fer.
Today, it houses a collection of more than one hundred railway engines and vehicles from all the different eras in three exhibition areas:
- The show trail: immerse yourself in history and be surprised by the impact of rail transport on the daily lives of the French people through themed dramatisations.
- The Quais de l'Etoile: the Quais de l'Etoile, the Quais de l'Etoile, the Quais de l'Etoile, the Quais de l'Etoile, the Quais de l'Etoile and the Quais de l'Etoile.- Les Quais de l'Histoire: this permanent exhibition traces the history of the railways in France and their technological evolution from the oldest steam locomotive dating from 1844 to the present day.
- The railway panorama: an outdoor area with several locomotives, a reconstructed station from the beginning of the 20th century or the passage of TGVs, international intercity trains, freight trains, tram-trains, etc.
