Located in Oberhaslach 40 kilometres from Strasbourg, the Nideck Waterfall is nestled in lush greenery. With its 25-metre drop, it is considered the highest in Alsace! Accessible via a hiking trail, it offers a shady, wooded spot that is particularly pleasant in summer. This natural site situated in the Vosges mountains is perfectly preserved. The ruins of two Nideck castles dating from the 13th century are situated one kilometre from the waterfall. Several walks allow you to admire this unspoilt area, ranging from a 3-kilometre stroll to a circuit of almost 20 kilometres for experienced hikers.
