The Nideck waterfall

Located in the commune of Oberhaslach à 40 kilomètres from Strasbourg, the cascade du Nideck is nestled in a swath of greenery. This 25-metre-high waterfall makes the Cascade du Nideck the highest in Alsace! Accessible via a hiking trail, it will offer you a shady and wooded area that is very enjoyable in summer. This nature site located in the Vosges mountains is perfectly preserved. The ruins of two castles dating from the 13th century are located one kilometre from the waterfall. There are several walks to admire this wild place, ranging from a 3-kilometre walk to a circuit of almost 20 kilometres for seasoned hikers.
