The gite is located in a small village between Strasbourg and Colmar.
Just outside Heidolsheim, Sélestat, with its new humanist library, lies at the foot of Haut-Koenigsbourg, whose keep dominates the plain.
Strasbourg, with its historic city centre, its Petite France and its thousand-year-old cathedral, can be explored on foot, by bike or along the river.
Colmar is a charming town with half-timbered houses, bridges and canals, and an authentic Christmas market.
Europa Park and its famous attractions are a quarter of an hour away by car.
The Vosges mountains are also close by; the Route des Crètes leads to the highest peaks, such as the Ballon d'Alsace and the Hohneck. Beautiful panoramic views and superb walks and hikes await you.
Josiane and Dominique, your hosts, will be delighted to share their favourites with you.
