Le Bacchus is a very bright gîte, with a lovely living space where everyone can find their own little corner of happiness and privacy; to seduce you, we have equipped it with modern furniture and great comfort. Beautiful views over the old roofs of Riquewihr, vineyards and forest. Our house "Le Coeur des Remparts" in Riquewihr is ideally situated for visiting Alsace and its region, taking the wine route, its vineyards and discovering its magnificent landscapes.

On the ground floor there is a lounge with television and radio, a living room with a dining table seating 8, a fully-equipped kitchen with electric oven, vitro hob, fridge, freezer, extractor fan, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, traditional and capsule coffee makers, teapot and all kitchen utensils. On the 1st floor, a bedroom with 2 single 90 x 200 cm beds, a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm double bed, a 2nd separate WC, a 2nd reading and multi-media room, a 2nd shower room with shower and washbasin. On the 2nd floor, a second bedroom with a 160 x 200 double bed, adjoining the bathroom with shower, bath and WC. The town of Riquewihr is not accessible by car. However, you can park your car in front of the gîte while you load or unload your luggage. From 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, security posts close the town to vehicles. This solution exists in many towns to avoid nuisance. Paid car parking is available 250 metres from the gîte. Fans and baby equipment available on request from the owner. We have also chosen to decorate the gîte in the pure Alsatian tradition, so that you can enjoy a warm and sober atmosphere. The walls are adorned with beautiful paintings/posters by the artist/painter Ratkoff, whose master is the famous Alsatian caricaturist Hansi, depicting life in Alsace.
