In the village of Uffholtz, south of the Alsatian vineyards, the gîte is located in an outbuilding of the owners' house on the edge of the forest. There is a private green space with a terrace and private parking.
Ideal for 2 people, this studio apartment, formerly an architect's studio, is ideal for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting close to nature. The gîte was completely renovated in 2020 and decorated with great care. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable, with a vintage 60s feel, and the terrace lets you make the most of the wooded exterior. Inside, there is a large living area with a lounge, dining area and open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. In the lounge area there is a sofa bed with coffee table, TV armchairs and a small corner desk. The sleeping area, which can be separated by a curtain, has a double bed (160/200cm). The shower room has a shower, washbasin and washing machine. The WC is separate. Towels and sheets are included. Your bed will be made up on arrival.
The gîte is equipped with WIFI and a heat pump air-conditioner.

Uffholtz is at the start of the Route des Crêtes tourist trail, a great opportunity to discover the Historial du Hartmannswillerkopf, a historic site commemorating the First World War. (Crypt, cemetery, Historial and discovery of the trenches) All along the Route des Crêtes, which takes you to the highest peak in the Vosges, the Grand Ballon, through forests and stubble fields, there are many farm inns where you can sample local produce.
